I'm re-learning how to play matched grip, and this is perfect because it's helping to slowly get that feel, that moeller motion that the right hand knows... the way that you've put these exercises together - right hand, then left, is great for what i'm doing because i'm able to really notice the feel in the right hand and try and mirror that with the left. Thanks a lot, also with the music is super relaxing and promoting that mind body connection that I need to try and get that feel in the left hand. Basically thanks, and great video :D

Probably a dumb question.. but when accenting, are you alternating between hitting the hi-hat with the shoulder and the tip of the drumsticks? Or alternating between heavy and softer hits? I just started drumming less than a month ago, so I’m new to all the cool stuff haha

As drummers, we have to put ourselves in the mindset as athletes. We are using all our limbs just like athletes do and you notice that they go out and do warm-ups prior to practices and games. We are no different, IMO.
